The Booking Process:
There are a couple of ways to book with JV Hire Services - you may either book online through one of our sister sites (links available on the home page); you can contact our office on 01256 277 651; or you can email us on admin@jvhireservices.co.uk.
Payment Options:
We accept payment in any of the following ways:
- Credit/Debit card - we are able to take card payments over the phone or we can send a link to pay securely online
- PayPal and bank transfer - we can send you an invoice containing the relevant details
- Cash on delivery - our delivery drivers are able to collect cash upon receipt of your product (Not applicable to high value bookings)
- Cheque - we no longer accept cheques as a form of payment
Area Coverage:
Our delivery area covers a 15 mile radius from Basingstoke, Winchester and Farnborough, however we are more than happy to deliver further afield if certain criteria are meet - please call our office to discuss if you fall outside of these areas. You will find delivery prices clearly shown on our sister sites during the booking process. To get the best delivery rate please ensure you book with the branch closest to you.
Cancellations and Refunds:
ANY BOOKINGS CANCELLED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS CAN BE ISSUED WITH A CREDIT VOUCHER OR MOVED TO A DIFFERENT DATE. PLEASE CONTACT US FOR MORE INFORMATION.
For domestic bookings with a value of less than £250
We know that life has a way of changing - even at the last minute - and so we offer a flexible cancellation policy.
If the weather is bad on the day of your event and you are able to offer 2 hours notice there will be no charge for cancellation and we will refund your transaction in full. We certainly don’t want to penalise you for the British weather.
If your booking has been confirmed and you wish to cancel there will be a £20 cancellation charge to cover any admin costs. Alternatively you can move your booking to another date free of charge. You will be sent an invoice by email. If you have already paid we will refund minus this charge of your transaction directly into your bank account.
If cancelling your booking for any other reason, and within 14 days of the hire date, there will be a 25% cancellation charge. You will be sent an invoice by email. If you have already paid we will refund 75% of your transaction directly into your bank account.
If cancelling your booking for any other reason, and within 7 days of the hire date, there will be a 50% cancellation charge. You will be sent an invoice by email. If you have already paid we will refund 50% of your transaction directly into your bank account.
